Dalgety Bay, it’s been a pleasure! 👏🥲

We closed our doors on Friday for the final time. Thank you to everyone who came along to support our team and say goodbye to the old place! It will certainly be missed by many ❤️

We would like to give a massive shout and thank you out to our whole team who stuck with us right until the end; Mikey, Beth, Jodie, Kristina, Claire, Sarah, Blair and Logan. Without our kitchen manager, Logan, we wouldn’t have had a kitchen these last few weeks & his hard work and determination shone through every day. 👏

And finally… we couldn’t have got through these last few months without our general manager, Laura. She held the team together in the hardest and most uncertain times and her passion for this business was there right until the minute we closed our doors. Thank you Laura, we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else by our sides! ❤️

To our wonderful regulars who kept us going daily with their kind words and support, thank you. You’re generosity was a ray of sunshine during the hard times ❤️

Join us on Friday 9th October as we say a fond farewell to The Compass, a place many of us have loved and enjoyed over its 12 years in service, and our team! ❤️

We will have DJ JOOSE with us one last time from 7pm giving The Compass one last hurrah before we close our doors later that evening! 🥹

After 13 incredible years, it is with heavy hearts that we share The Compass will be closing it’s doors this October.

For those of us who have been a part of this journey, The Compass has been so much more than a workplace. It has been our second home, where colleagues have become lifelong friends and, over the years, a family.

Through every challenge, every busy service and every success, our team has grafted day in, day out to make The Compass the very best it could be. We've laughed together, supported each other through hard times, celebrated milestones, and welcomed so many of you through our doors. Every plate served, every drink poured, every conversation shared has meant something to us.

To our amazing customers, thank you. Thank you for choosing us, supporting us, recommending us, and making The Compass such a wonderful place to be. Your loyalty, kindness and friendship over the last 13 years have meant more than you'll ever know. You weren't just customers, you became part of The Compass' story.

We're incredibly proud of everything we've built together and all of the memories we've shared with all of you. Those memories will stay with us long after the doors close.

We still have a little time left until October, and we'd love to see as many familiar faces as possible before we say goodbye. Come in, share a drink, a meal, a story, and help us celebrate everything The Compass has meant to so many people.
