🌟🌟🌟HOLIDAY TIME 🌟🌟🌟

Afternoon, ok ok its not been 84 years, but it feels like it just now. Unpopular as this may be, I will be closing the cafe for a wee break from monday 21st of September ,and reopening on Thursday 1st October. Those that have been with us for a while will know I usually take a break earlier than this in September, but due to bookings this is the earliest I can do, and im not going to lie, I need a switch off and a recharge! We've had a cracking summer, welcomed plenty of old faces and quite a few new, and hope you've all enjoyed your summer holidays. Now its time for me to have a wee break. Thank you for your continued support and apologies to anyone who may miss us during this break ♥️😎🙏

Ps. Just before anyone asks, im not going anywhere, I just bought a new mattress, apparently they now cost a small holiday!🫣😅

I met this gorgeous boy Eddie yesterday! I've never personally met anyone like him, he lost ½ his lower jaw due to cancer, but I can safely say it doesnt stop him getting all the treats, and maybe a wee bit o ham 😉

Well today was abit different! Not everyday, Rob Hayles,radio 2 DJ OJ Borg, TV presenter Gethin Jones, Phillip Hindes, the legend that is Sir Chris Hoy and Ed Clancy (16 Olympic medals between them) walk in! Lovely bunch of lads 👌😎

Dumfries show yesterday? Need something to revive you? For all the meat eaters our full breakfast is available all day!! Grill goes off at 330pm , smaller breakfasts and vegetarian options available. You know you want to 😉♥️

Morning! If you've visited us lately you may have enjoyed our little secret tea garden in this glorious weather! The tea garden is not table service, so you need to order and pay at the till, everything you need is there, menus, pads and pens. Come and enjoy, we are open Thursday to Monday 10-4pm, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Hope to see you soon! 🌿

Those that know me, know im not a fan of hot weather, BUT, you have to love what it brings!! The greenhouse is coming on, and what I grow comes to you! Don't get me wrong, its a part time thing, but every year is better. Im away to stick my head in my sweetpeas, blooming lovely 😍 👌

Well, after over 5 years our wee Ruby has left. She is going to be greatly missed by us and customers alike, her sass, whirlwind nature, and stories (so many stories!😂). Sundays will never be the same!! I've had some cracking staff at Brambles over the years, and Ruby is definitely one of them. She's also probably the only member of staff I've threatened to throw in the pond as often!!😂 We wish her every success in the future, enjoy Italy Ruby 🇮🇹!!
