🚨 NEWSFLASH 🚨

Hi there it’s Dawn! 😊

I am sooooo proud to announce, that I am now the new owner of Millingtons cafe!
I’m bringing along with me the other fabulous girls too,♥️so watch this space.
“The Millington Girls”, are on their way back!!☕❤️

Firstly, from the bottom of our hearts — thank you for every heartfelt message, card, and gift when the café closed. We were truly overwhelmed by your kindness and support. 💌

When our doors shut, I knew that I had to find a way to keep the magic alive. As you all know, we’re not just a café serving great coffee and food — we’re a community hub with soul, and that’s what makes us unique. ✨

After a little refresh and a whole lot of love, we’re getting ready to open our doors once again! 🎉

I still can't actually believe I am writing this but today is our last day.

The amount of kind, heartfelt words, messages, cards, gifts and everything else has been overwhelming. Myself and the Team have appreciated every single one.

Every customer in the last 10 years has been appreciated and its clear that we really have made a difference to many people's lives and for that we will all be eternally grateful.

I was hoping that the business would be taken over and the legacy continued but it wasn't meant to be.

Over the coming weeks I will be arranging for fixtures and fittings to be sold so you may still see a few more posts from us!

We are open today so if you are around it would be amazing to see as many people as possible!

As we have made so many friends with our customers, this will not be the end as those relationships will continue and we look forward to seeing you around.

Thank you all once again.

Much love from Ryan and The Team xx

📢 Announcement 📢

It is with a lot of sadness that I find myself writing this post.

As of 4pm 02 August 2025, Millington’s Cafe & Coffee Lounge will be closing its doors after nearly 10 years.

I took on this building from a previous cafe that was suffering, I saw the potential and knew that I could make it work but in a different way. I wanted it to provide a different level of customer service unlike the big brands and make it special for the staff, the customers and the community.

I believe that over the years that we, as a Team have achieved this. Yes, there have been hiccups along the way but it has been an amazing business to run and own and it couldn't have been done without the amazing staff.

It would mean so much to me but more so the staff, if you could pop in and see them before we close. As I say, they have made so many close friends who started out as customers and we have helped them, cried with them, laughed with them, sang with them, supported them in tough times and all while producing a hub for the local community as well as amazing food and drinks.

The reasons for closing are personal but I am hopeful that someone will take a new lease on the premises and keep going with an amazing legacy.

If you or anyone you know would be interested, please feel free to message me.

We hope to see many of you over the coming weeks and I will try to provide any updates as we go on.

For now, I will say a massive thank you to every single customer or friend that has visited us over the last 9+ years. You have been amazing.

Love to you all

Ryan and The Team.

We all love to be outside and I know many people (me especially) love to 'people watch'. What better way than with some nice food and a lovely coffee. We have the perfect spot, even if it's raining as it's undercover but a bit of mountain view! fans
