Trios Trios is a traditional Tea Shop and Take away Established in October 2014, Trios is a traditional Teashop & Takeaway situated in the heart of Pontnewydd.

Described as a "little gem", Trios provides indoor seating for up to 24 people and 23 in the outdoor tea garden. Its pleasant decor, newly revamped in pretty, pastel, gingham fabrics adds to the calming ambience. Beautiful bone china tea sets add nostalgia and character which, combined with loose leaf tea and traditional soft drinks make for a satisfying experience. Trios menu extends from breakfa

st, light lunches and our popular afternoon tea. A scrumptious selection of cakes and puddings including a choice of ice cream desserts made with 'whippy' ice cream and fresh ingredients. Trios is also a licensed premises, so is able to provide alcoholic drinks either with your meal, or for private functions. Why not enjoy a relaxing catch up with friends over a glass of wine in our garden? - weather permitting of course! Currently open Wednesday - Saturday, we are taking things gradually following the pandemic; with a view to extending opening hours later in the year. We have safety precautions in place and are committed to providing a safe environment for our staff and customers as necessary. Trios is available for private parties/functions outside normal opening hours. Minimum numbers apply. Please speak to us for further information! Trios can also cater for external events such as buffets for weddings, funerals or corporate events.
