💔 A heartfelt announcement from The Dorallt Inn
It is with great sadness that we announce that The Dorallt Inn has closed with immediate effect.
This is not a decision we have made lightly, and it is certainly not one we wanted to have to make. However, after careful consideration of the financial and operational circumstances facing the pub, we have concluded that closing is the only viable option at this time.
When I returned to the pub, I became aware of financial commitments and liabilities from the previous period of operation that were greater than I had initially understood. Over the past 10 months, we have worked incredibly hard to keep the doors open and to rebuild the pub, while meeting significant ongoing costs including rent, stock, supplier costs and existing financial commitments.
Despite our best efforts, the financial pressures facing the business, together with other circumstances affecting its continued operation, have made it impossible for us to continue trading at this time.
We would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported us over the past 10 months. We have had some wonderful times, created some fantastic memories and welcomed so many amazing customers through the doors, both old and new.
And to our wonderful staff.. thank you. ❤️
You have worked incredibly hard through the quiet times, the busy times and everything in between. We genuinely appreciate everything you have done for the pub and for us, and we are going to miss you all enormously.
This is not necessarily the end of The Dorallt Inn. We remain hopeful that the pub will reopen in the future, although we cannot make any promises or confirm any timescale at this stage.
🎟️ Night of Mediumship
For everyone who has purchased tickets to our Night of Mediumship, a member of staff will be in touch regarding arrangements for a full refund.
🎃 Children’s Halloween Party
For those who have purchased tickets to our Children’s Halloween Party, we are currently exploring the possibility of moving the event to a nearby venue so that it can still go ahead.
We will contact ticket holders directly as soon as we have confirmation. If the event cannot proceed, a full refund will be provided.
