A brilliant day on the farm with ESG Drysdale and Tesco, celebrating some of the incredible Scottish produce grown right here on our doorstep.

From swede tonic with burnt honey and black lime, to Osteria fresh egg pasta, Eden Valley prawns, fire-cooked vegetables and coffee & rose beef pavé — all given a little Simmer Kitchen twist.

Mrs Osteria — aka Heather Roberto — is a finalist for this year’s Scottish Thistle Awards, Individual of the Year! 💜

I honestly couldn’t be prouder.

Heather has been the rock holding Osteria — and me — together through opening the restaurant, moving our whole family from Leeds to Fife, and everything that has come with building this dream.

As chefs, we can design, create and cook every dish, but the moment we ring that bell, all our hard work is placed into the hands of the front-of-house team. Heather is right at the heart of that — welcoming every guest, leading the team and making Osteria feel like home.

She is not just Mrs Osteria. She is half of me, and together we are one.

So proud of you, Heather. You deserve this more than anyone. ❤️ x
