We are delighted to announce that Unicorn Markets CIC is a finalist at the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2026 in not one, but TWO categories:

That feels huge because Bathgate Market was never just about putting stalls in a car park.

It was about creating an affordable place where local people could have a go, grow a small business, raise money for a good cause, meet new people and feel part of something positive happening in our town.

This recognition belongs to every trader who took a chance on the market. Every car boot seller who turned up early. Every volunteer who mucked in. Every community group that joined us. And every person who visited, bought something, shared a post or told a friend.

You made the market what it is and now it’s being recognised on a national stage. ❤️

The winners will be announced on 28 October. Whatever happens next, reaching two national finals is already an incredible moment for our market and our brilliant town.

At Baked by Anne, we know that our furry family members hold such a special place in our hearts. 🐾💖

So when I was asked to create these personalised 21st birthday cupcakes featuring the gorgeous Ruby, I couldn't wait to bring them to life! From edible photo toppers to pretty pink swirls and glittery gold details, every cupcake was made with love.
