🥹🏆 ALWAYS THE BRIDESMAID… NEVER THE BRIDE! 😂

Well… unfortunately the trophy isn’t coming back to The Border. 💔

Of course we’re gutted — we wouldn’t be human if we weren’t! We came to Leeds really hoping this might be our night. 🤞

But when the disappointment wears off, we’ll remember just how bloody proud we are that our little pub in North Shields was here in the first place. ❤️🐾

We might not have come home with the trophy, but we’ve got something pretty special at The Border — our staff, our customers and a community that gets behind us every single time.

Thank you SO much for all the messages and good luck wishes. It honestly means more than you know. ❤️

One day a trophy WILL have The Border Terrier written on it… 😂🏆

Until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best.

We’re off to Leeds for the Great British Pub Awards! 🏆✨

It still feels pretty special to be heading there representing our little pub and our amazing community. ❤️

So… wish us luck, keep everything crossed 🤞 and hopefully we’ll be coming home with a trophy for The Border! 🏆🍻
