Rockpool opened in October 2011 and is a small family run business owned by the Mcdonald family. Rockpool has a fresh and contemporary, sea-side feel.

Set in the main square in Cullen, with free parking right outside, Rockpool is the perfect place for a stop off or to simply relax, sit back, enjoy the food and watch the world go by. Owners Steve and Carrie have worked hard to create a family friendly environment which can be enjoyed by both tourists and locals a like. Here at Rockpool we serve a wide selection of food from breakfasts, soups, our trademark Cullen Skink, lunches, children’s meals and a wide selection of delicious home bakes which are all made on the premises. There is also a Specials Board which changes daily and usually features fresh local seafood. With its beautiful beach , scenic walks, quirky antique shops and of course famous Cullen Ice cream shop, Cullen is the perfect place to enjoy a day out so why not stop in at Rockpool and experience it for yourself.

Our Rockpool burgers, which are supplied by A J Jamieson, have recently been awarded Gold from the Scottish craft butchers. You can enjoy these award winning 🥇burgers from their shop in Fochabers or from ourselves at Rockpool cafe in Cullen

Well it’s a bittersweet day at Rockpool day . On one hand we are happy to be celebrating the wedding of one of our staff Isla who is getting married in Banff today. We hope her special day is everything she wished for and more ❤️.
Today is also our lovely Linda’s last day with us . Linda has been part of the team for nearly 5 years and will be so missed by everyone . We wish Linda and her husband Graham all the very best in the next chapter of their lives where they will be close to their family and precious grandson . Best wishes to everyone today and ps - shop is closing at 3pm today so our staff can go to the wedding !
