Our firewood production site is located in the best birch
forests in Lithuania. Baltic birch is grown in the northern part of Europe, where the cold temperatures make growth rates much slower. The wood therefore has a very tight grain and higher density than faster-growing varieties, meaning our logs have a high heat output and efficiency compared with wood from other parts of Europe. The technical properties of birch make it an excellent material for top-quality firewood. Jieznas is a small village of 1,400 great people located in the central part of Lithuania, and 25 of them work with us at our production site. They produce 240 tonnes of premier kiln-dried firewood a week. This production site brings great benefits to the local community. With a reputation for being experienced, reliable and passionate, we have been trusted by some of the largest European and Asian firewood wholesalers for over 14 years. WE KNOW ABOUT SERVICE
At finelogs.co.uk we are committed to great service. Almost 50% of the retail price of logs comes from supply chain expenditure. Our goal is to reduce these costs and cut the retail price for our customers. Every day we think about logistics: how to design the best packaging, making the supply chain shorter, increasing the efficiency of the distribution process and transportation of raw materials to our production site.
