Halloween quiz night for all the family. 🎃

Join us on Wednesday 28th October for a spooky quiz, starting at 7.30pm. It's £3 per person, with cash prizes for the winners.

Teams of up to 8. Bring the kids, the grandparents, and anyone else who knows their witches from their warlocks. Fancy dress is very much encouraged. 👻

This month it's the Spicy Chipotle Margarita, crafted by Sasha, our very own Lord of the Cocktails. Smoky, a little fiery, and well worth the journey.

We asked him what are his favourites on the menu and this is what he told us:

"Tiger Prawns to start. Jerk Chicken for main, every time. And Banoffee Pie for dessert, but get two spoons. It's perfect for sharing."

This is Harry. Most of you will know him from behind the bar or bringing plates out to your table, always with a smile and never in a rush.

This morning he swaps the bar for the start line at the Barnstaple Marathon. That's 26.2 miles along the Taw and the Tarka Trail, and we couldn't be prouder of him.

Good luck Harry. Take it steady, enjoy every mile, and we'll have something cold waiting for you when you're back 🍺

If you're out on the route today, give him a cheer. And if you spot him behind the bar this week, make sure you tell him well done 💚
