🌊🎶 A huge thank you to Save Our Sands for donating a stunning recreation of the iconic Pink Floyd album cover, A Momentary Lapse of Reason!
The original artwork, famous for its surreal rows of hospital beds across the sand, was photographed at Saunton Sands in 1987. This brilliant recreation was brought to life by local hands for the Whitecross campaign – a fitting tribute to one of the UK’s most breathtaking longboard beaches. 🏄♂️✨
Pink Floyd also share a special connection with surf culture, with their epic track Echoes providing the soundtrack to the finale of the classic surf film Crystal Voyager, starring George Greenough. 🎬🌊
We’re truly stoked to add this recreation to our collection – it sits perfectly alongside our other Pink Floyd memorabilia, and we’re over the moon to own such a gem! 💙
