The Lap of Love 500 mile walk:
Cromer to Buxton 15 miles.

Well I've arrived at my starting point of Cromer, Norfolk where the weather is absolutely freezing, luckily though the generosity is very warm.

Let me introduce you to Julie, who works at the "Reef Stop" coffee shop, right by the seaside. I've just told her Carolines and my story and she has kindly just given me a double espresso and a Bakewell tart to get me on my way. What a fantastic way to start this journey and I've not even walked 100 meters yet.

Oh and I just noticed the Gofundme is only £87 away from £39k so if you have a couple a quid spare, it would be great if you could donate and it will be greatly appreciated!

This year marks a big milestone for us – our 10th year on the seafront and an incredible 40 years serving the wonderful people of Cromer. We honestly couldn’t have done it without your support, and we’re so grateful to be part of this community. Here’s to many more years ahead!

We’ve got some tasty new additions to the menu lined up for the season, plus a diary packed full of themed events that we can’t wait to share with you. There’s lots to look forward to!

While we’re busy preparing for another great season, if you’re out on the promenade walking the dog, stretching your legs, or just getting some fresh sea air, you can still grab refreshments and a bite to eat — including alcohol — not just from us but from other outlets too.

Happy Christmas from us at The Reef Stop, Cromer.

Sadly no Boxing Day dip this year but we still will be open on Friday, and all over the Christmas season including for the New Year’s Day Fireworks.
