ATTENTION- BIG NEWS AHEAD!

We’ve just posted an EXCITING (and pretty damn detailed) write up of the story of how Hucks came to be, our REFURB and REBRAND plan, and how we’re chasing our dreams of starting a creative community space! 🩷 We’re even announcing the DATE we’ll be refurbing (yep, it’s all happening very soon!) ⭐️

Oh, and would you look at that? The page has a nice big green ‘DONATE’ button which you could press to seriously help us achieve those dreams! (We’ll be forever thankful!) 💓

No better way to spend it than with a nice drink (like this iced pistachio latte) and a trip to the beach 🌊🙂‍↕️

We’re looking for a bright new face to join our Saturday team at Hucks!

The role will involve;
⭐️ Clearing and cleaning tables
⭐️ Washing up (this will take up the bulk of the day)
⭐️ Serving customers
⭐️ Cleaning and helping close down

Applicants MUST be;
⭐️ At least 17 years old
⭐️ Fast and efficient at washing up
⭐️ Friendly and confident when taking customer orders
⭐️ Able to stand for an 8 hour shift (with a break, of course)

Even better if they;
⭐️ Have an interest in coffee and matcha
⭐️ Understand different dietary requirements
⭐️ Are creative or artsy

Perks include;
⭐️ Free drinks on shift
⭐️ Staff discount
⭐️ Getting to taste test new bakes
⭐️ Regular set shifts
⭐️ Possibility of extra hours for cover and holidays
⭐️ Level 2 Food Hygiene training + certificate
⭐️ Pay above minimum wage

There’s an absolutely INCREDIBLE carrot cake on the shelves right now 🤤

How do we know it’s incredible?… We’ve been buying slices ourselves because it’s just too good 😂

A beautifully moist carrot sponge, perfectly spiced, and topped with our ‘cream cheese’ frosting 🫶🥕

No eggs or dairy needed for this bad boy, so it’s totally vegan friendly too 🤩

BAG OF BERG ANYONE?! 😂

It may not be much of a looker, but this bag right here contains A KILO (seriously!) of our delicious Battenberg off cuts! 🤤

And, it could be all your’s for the small price of a tenner… an insane steal if you ask us 😳

We only have a few of these sacks of goodness- so you better get on it FAST if you want one reserved for you this weekend ⭐️

We’ve frozen these for peak tastiness (so you technically shouldn’t freeze them again, but who are we to tell you how to live your life 🤔) and packaged them up with some marzipan thrown into the mix as well 🩷

We also have chocolate chip and caramel NYC cookies, PLUS a brand new scone flavour ready for the morning 😏 So don’t ever say we don’t treat you well!

FRUIT SCONES ARE HERE! 🤩

Our very own Hucks recipe- with a soft and fluffy centre, filled with fruity sultanas, and topped with the perfect sugar crunch 🤤🩷

You can enjoy them with butter, flora, strawberry jam, clotted cream, or vegan squirty cream!

We’re reallllly excited about baking our own scones (especially since the vegans on the team will be able to eat them, too), and even more so for the fun flavours we have planned! Keep an eye out for more announced soon 👁️🫶
