⭐️ REFURB UPDATE FROM JAY! ⭐️
If you’ve visited Hucks over the Summer and wondered if we’ve finished the refurbing- the answer is absolutely NOT! 🤣
Before the holidays started, I’d already been caught out accidentally snoozing during the all-night painting sessions, paintbrush still in hand 😳 With extra shifts to cover and the need to be awake during my shifts (no one wants a zombie barista (although that does sound cool)), I decided to put a pause on the redecorating for the Summer holidays 💔
BUT!- now that the Summer is sizzling out and things are likely to get (a little) calmer soon, our volunteer refurber and I will be back at it very soon 🤩 There’s plenty of painting to be finished, plants, decorations, and signage to go up, and quality of life updates still to come, so if you’ve been liking it how it is- just you wait until you see it finished!
On that note, I want to say a big fat thank you to everyone who has shown love for the new look and new vibe! As the person in charge of organising and designing the rebrand (with no experience since painting my bedroom at 16, during which I electrocuted myself 🤣), it has been stressful and intense to say the least. But, the hardwork has felt so so soooo worth it thanks to the insane amount of positivity 🩷
It’s also been insanely cool to see a whole bunch of new customers and new followers start coming to Hucks since the rebrand! Obviously we all absolutely adore our longtime regulars 🌟 but, all of the gorgeous new faces we’ve seen over the Summer has shown that we must be doing something right! If you’re one of those new faces- WELCOME! It’s so nice to have you here 🫶
Sooo with all that being said, thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement so far, and let’s all get verrrrry excited for a fully painted and decorated Hucks coming real soon 💕
