Families enjoyed a free lunch, activities and time together in our welcoming community café. We're proud to be part of Lunch Crewe, a long-established programme funded by Crewe Town Council and delivered by community partners across Crewe.

Last Friday, we hosted a community meal to celebrate the soft relaunch of GLO Enterprises. Whether it’s through our Café, Hub, or Maintenance team, GLO Enterprises is all about creating local jobs, building skills, and keeping our vital YMCA services running. Seeing everyone chatting and laughing around the tables was a huge reminder of why we do this. 💚

Some extra exciting news? GLO Café has been nominated for Best Café at the 2026 Englands Business Awards! ⭐️

We are absolutely delighted to share that has been named Best Community Café at the 2026!

This award means so much because GLO Café is about more than great food and coffee. Every day, we strive to create a welcoming space where people can connect, belong and feel part of the community.

Its also our 5th year and this achievement belongs to our incredible team, dedicated volunteers, loyal customers and everyone who has walked through our doors, supported us, shared a meal with us, attended an event or simply stopped by for a chat.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for helping make GLO Café the special place it is today. ❤️
