Games night has been cancelled tomorrow, but Gumshoe will be hosting MtG games on Sunday, our final day open.

See you this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10am-3pm ☕❤️

Hi everyone from Josh and Laura,

We have come to the difficult decision to close Big Mugs at the start of August, with our final day being the 2nd of August, 2026. 

As we both move forward in our careers, we’ve ran into scheduling conflicts that have forced us to reduce our opening hours, and this month, we regretfully are only able to open three times a week. 

Our final opening hours will be:

Saturday 11th - 10am to 3pm

Sunday 12th - 10am to 3pm

Thursday 16th - 12 noon to 9pm

Saturday 18th - 10am to 3pm

Sunday 19th - 10am to 3pm

Thursday 23rd - 6pm to 9pm

Saturday 25th - 10am to 3pm

Sunday 16th - 10am to 3pm

Thursday 30th - 6pm to 9pm

And the final weekend:

Friday 31st - 10am to 3pm

Saturday 1st - 10am to 3pm

Sunday 2nd - 10am to 3pm

Gumshoe Comics and Collectibles, who run our weekly Games Night, have been informed of our situation so that they have time to find a new venue. We are going to continue hosting them on Thursday evenings and Sundays until we close.

And if you want something to remember us by, we’ll now be selling off our remaining Big Mugs official tote bags for £4. 

We’ll never forget the support our customers, our clients and our incredible staff have shown us, and we feel honoured we were able to share our own little caffeinated oasis with you for almost two years!
