One of our lovely parents in going to race around the beautiful Island of Anglesey, Tour De Mon to raise funds for our much needed services.

And that's it. Today we officially leave Buttertons Lane Farm 🥺.

You can see how drastically things have changed over the last 2 months, it's been incredibly hard not just moving house, but closing down the farm with all the emotions that involves.

We've had nearly 40yrs of memories here, some high, some low.......but we wouldn't change any of it.

The Buttertons Big Brown Cow Ice Cream page will be closed down at the weekend, but if you have any final memories to share, please post them in the comments.

We hope you find somewhere else that offers what we did. We were a small family farm, but we feel we offered you our home to enjoy.

Farm Sale viewing from 8.30am Friday 6th Oct 2023.

Parking tomorrow is NOT in the farm yard. It is from a gate entrance off the main road on the right hand side if you're coming from Alsager.

Signs will be posted.

Good morning, Sandbach! The mist has just about lifted, and the sun is shining through... It feels like it's going to be another hot one!

The scones are in the oven, the Portuguese Custard Tarts have just come out, and our cooked hams are on the counter. We're fully stocked on great British cheeses, Buttertons Ice Cream (More on that later), and our own freshly-roasted coffee. Sounds like all you need for the weekend!

Don't forget that we also have an English wine tasting today, 11am-3pm. More details on that to follow.

Last night we visited Buttertons Big Brown Cow Ice Cream for what probably was our last ice cream order from Robert & Helen. A bittersweet moment, but we had a good chat about farming and ice cream under a stunning sunset.

We have a limited range of small and 500ml tubs. In 500ml we have:
