📣 Our Senior Social Christmas Lunch menu has arrived! 🎄

Join us at The Space Invader on Wednesday 9 December for a festive three-course lunch, a drink on arrival and entertainment, all for £25 per person.

To start:

• Chestnut and roasted butternut squash soup
• Garlic wild mushrooms with Stilton cream sauce and sourdough toast
• Prawn cocktail with Bloody Mary sauce and gem lettuce

For your main course:

• Traditional roast turkey with pigs in blankets, pork and apricot stuffing, roast potatoes, glazed roots, buttered greens and gravy
• Salt-baked beetroot Wellington with mushroom cream sauce and roasted vegetables
• Seabass fillet with crushed potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and lemon and caper butter

For dessert:

• Christmas pudding with warm brandy sauce
• Mini profiteroles with Chantilly cream and warm chocolate sauce
• Mulled poached pear with vegan cream and orange-candied nuts

Please arrive from 3pm, with dining at 3:30pm.

Halloween at The Space Invader is going to be a big one! 🎃🎸

The Select Committee will be joining us on Saturday 31 October from 8pm for a Halloween Bash packed with live music, rock anthems, singalong favourites and dance-floor fillers.

Expect music from Oasis, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Queen, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Guns N’ Roses and plenty more.

Gather your friends, get your costumes ready and join us for a brilliant Halloween night!

Santa is coming to The Space Invader! 🎅🏻🎄

Join us on Saturday 12 December from 11am for a magical Breakfast with Santa, filled with festive food, dancing, games and plenty of Christmas surprises.

Each £15 ticket includes a children’s breakfast and juice, followed by a mini disco, Christmas-themed party games, action dances and dance challenges. There will also be prizes, sweets, a balloon for every child and a Christmas party bag to take home.

After breakfast, Santa will be making a very special appearance—and he’ll have a gift for every child! 🎁

Fancy making your own Christmas wreath this year? 🎄

Join Hayley’s Flower Studio at The Space Invader on Monday 7 December for a relaxed evening of wreath making. You’ll use seasonal flowers and foliage to create something lovely to hang at home—or give to someone special.

The workshop starts at 7:30pm and costs £45 per person, including a glass of fizz.

We know, we know… it feels far too early to be talking about Christmas! 🎄

But December always arrives before we know it, so we thought it was best to let you know what we’ve got planned at The Space Invader and give you plenty of time to save the dates.

Our Christmas menu will be available from 16 November until 24 December.

🎄 Locals’ Christmas Party – Thursday 10 December

Join us from 7pm for our locals’ Christmas celebration, featuring a delicious hog roast served at 8pm, a drink and entertainment. Tickets are just £2.50 per person.

Please note that this is an adults-only event, and dogs cannot be accommodated.

🥂 Senior Social Club Christmas Party – Wednesday 9 December

Enjoy a festive three-course meal, a drink on arrival and entertainment for £25 per person. Please arrive at 3pm, with the meal served from 3:30pm.

🎅🏻 Christmas Eve – Thursday 24 December

Start your Christmas celebrations with us! Food will be served from noon until 9pm, with the bar open from noon until midnight as well as live music.

🥊 Boxing Day – Saturday 26 December

Take it easy after the big day and let us do the cooking. Food will be served from noon until 9pm, with the bar open from 11am until midnight.

🍻 New Year’s Eve – Thursday 31 December

See out the year at The Space Invader. Our normal menu will be available from noon until 9pm, and the bar will remain open until 1am, as well as live music.

🗓️ New Year’s Day – Friday 1 January

Begin the new year with good food and a relaxed visit to your local. Food will be served from noon until 9pm, with the bar open from 11am until midnight.
