TOMORROW. WE DO BETTER. 🧡🖤❤️

Ninja isn't perfect.

We're proud of what we've built, we're proud of our team and we're incredibly grateful for everyone who chooses to spend their time and money with us.

But being proud of Ninja doesn't mean pretending we always get everything right.

We don't.

Sometimes we get things wrong. Sometimes we miss the little things. Sometimes we don't see something that might be obvious to you.

And sometimes… we could simply do better.

So that's exactly what we're going to do.

Over the next 4 weeks, every Friday we're going to focus on making Ninja better.

We're going to ask questions.

We're going to listen, properly listen, to the answers.

We're going to look at the things we've perhaps stopped noticing.

We're going to make changes.

And we're going to show you what we've done.

Some things might be fixed overnight. Others might take a little longer. And there may even be things we can't change, but we'll be open about those too.

This isn't about being perfect.

It's about never becoming comfortable with “good enough”.

We’ve made it halfway through the week… although some of us might be running more on coffee than motivation at this point. 😂☕

😤 WINGE WEDNESDAY 😤

We don’t like writing posts like this… but come on guys! 💔

We’ve discovered damage in our Gaming Room at The Annex, including:

🎮 A PlayStation 5 cover snapped off
🔌 USB-C charging cables stolen
🍰 And, somehow… CAKE shoved into a USB-C charging port?!

Seriously. Cake. In. The. Charging. Port. 🤦‍♂️😡

We created Game On for everyone to enjoy. We’ve invested in the consoles, Gaming passes, latest games, TVs and equipment because we like having nice things at Ninja, and we want our customers to have nice things too!

All we ask is that people respect our property and leave it how they found it.

Unfortunately, because of what’s happened, we’re introducing some new Game On House Rules with immediate effect:

🚫 No food in the Gaming Room
🚫 No drinks in the Gaming Room
🎮 Treat the consoles, controllers and TVs with care
🔌 Cables and accessories must stay in the room
🧡 Leave everything as you found it
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be appropriately supervised
⚠️ Deliberate damage or theft will not be tolerated and CCTV will be submitted to the police for criminal damage!

You can still take a break from gaming and enjoy your food and drinks in the coffee shop before heading back in.

We really don’t want to be the fun police. But unfortunately, a small number of people are spoiling something that’s there for everyone.

If the damage and theft continue, we’ll simply remove the consoles, sell them and repurpose the room for something else. We genuinely don’t want to do that.

So please, enjoy it, game away, have fun… just look after it. 🧡🖤

And apparently we now need an eighth house rule…

Cake goes in your mouth. Not in the PlayStation!!!

We’re so glad to hear that it was a successful day for everyone, and it was brilliant seeing The Annex filled with so many fantastic local makers, creators and businesses.

And now… onto Market #2! 👀

Our first Ninja Coffee Makers Market is happening this Sunday, and we still have room for a few more makers to join us!

We’re particularly looking for:

🎨 Artists / prints / illustrations
🪵 Woodwork & handmade wooden items
💌 Handmade cards & stationery
🧵 Cushions & textile makers
🏠 Homeware & home décor
🫙 Jars, ceramics, decorative pieces & handmade gifts

We want a really varied market, so we’re trying not to have lots of stalls selling the same thing.
