Huge congratulations to our very own Holly, carer at Whitley Bay.
After three years of studying for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, completing over 30 assignments, and putting in countless hours of hard work, determination, blood, sweat, and definitely a lot of tears, Holly graduated with a 2:1.
This degree isn't just a qualification, it's the foundation for a career dedicated to helping vulnerable adults struggling with alcohol and substance addiction. Her goal is to support people in making positive, lasting changes to their lives, rather than seeing them lost in a system that doesn't always provide the most effective or compassionate care.
Congratulations, Holly. Your resilience, dedication, and passion for helping others have brought you to this moment, and there's no doubt you'll make a real difference in the lives of many people.

Celebrating 30 Amazing Years, Kelly! 🎉

What better way to celebrate an incredible milestone than with a surprise party! Residents and staff came together to catch Kelly completely off guard as they celebrated her 30 years of dedicated service at Eothen Gosforth.

Thirty years... that's not just a milestone, it's practically a lifetime in care!
Kelly joined Eothen Gosforth as a young carer, and through hard work, dedication and a heart full of compassion, has grown through the ranks, now an outstanding Team Leader. Over the last three decades, she's cared for countless residents, supported families, mentored colleagues, and somehow still manages to keep everyone smiling.
She's seen fashions come and go, paperwork multiply and probably served enough cups of tea to fill a swimming pool! But one thing has never changed, her unwavering commitment to giving residents the love, kindness and dignity they deserve every single day.
Kelly, thank you for 30 years of dedication, loyalty, laughter and genuine care. Eothen simply wouldn't be the same without you.
Congratulations on an incredible achievement, here's to you, Kelly... and perhaps to finally accepting that you deserve a sit down (even if it's only until someone shouts, "Kelly!"). 💙🎉

☀️ When the sun comes out at Whitley Bay, there’s only one thing for it… move lunch outdoors and enjoy dinner-and-a-show! 🍽️🌸
Today’s entertainment featured our gardener hard at work, carefully tending the beautiful gardens while the ladies enjoyed their lunch in the sunshine. Reviews were excellent, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the flowers, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the lunch, and a standing ovation for the gardener! 🌿😄
