🎬🎻 An Evening of Film, Food & Live Music at The Pot Belly! 🍽️🍿

We’re delighted to welcome Banbridge Community Cinema back to The Pot Belly on Wednesday 12th August for a special screening of the acclaimed new Irish film Trad.

To make the evening even more special, the fantastic Maggie’s Boys will be providing live traditional music before and after the film, creating the perfect atmosphere for a great night out.

Trad is a heartwarming new Irish drama that follows gifted young fiddle player Shóna McAnally as she leaves home with her younger brother and a group of travelling musicians. Filled with humour, emotion and an unforgettable soundtrack, it’s a celebration of Irish music, family and finding your place in the world.

🎁 There’ll also be a BIG raffle on the night, with all proceeds going to NIPANC (Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer Charity), supporting the incredible work they do for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

In partnership with Banbridge Community Cinema, we'll be hosting a screening of The Song Cycle (2026), the inspiring documentary that follows musician and cyclist Nick Kelly on an unforgettable journey.
Even better, Nick Kelly will be joining us in person — arriving with bicycle and guitar in tow! After the screening, he'll take part in a live singalong and conversation, sharing stories from the road and the making of the film.
