You might've already seen that last night, Red Funnel Ferry Southampton announced its new late-night charter service between Cowes and Southampton - allowing additional crossings when demand is there. 🚢

I’m really pleased to share that the very first sailing, scheduled for Saturday 23rd May, has been chartered by my wife, Leah, and I through our shop, Corries Cabin.

We all know what it’s like to go to the theatre or a gig in Southampton and have to leave early to catch the last Red Jet. This new service will let people enjoy a night out to Southampton or even get back from London the very same night. 🎭

There is still a long way to go in improving ferry services, and with the Cross-Solent Transport Group set to meet in the coming months, that work will continue. In the meantime, this new service offers Islanders greater flexibility to enjoy events and travel later into the evening.

Tickets will soon be made publicly available via the Red Funnel website, meaning anyone can book and benefit from these additional services. 🎉
