We love this Beatles-themed postbox topper in Gurnard 😍

It's on the corner of Albert (not Abbey) Road!

It was made by Debbie Hall, from Plaza Ices, who crocheted it in between serving ice cream! 🍦

It was twenty years ago today.....

That Trevor Macneill opened the doors of the Octopus’ Garden Cafe for the very first time. It is still missed by many and thousands of people will have memories of friendships made, stories told and numerous hangover breakfasts. It was a great 14 years but as George Harrison eloquently put it, All Things Must Pass. Thank you everyone; staff, customers, suppliers and the many Beatles fans who often travelled from the mainland for the OG experience. It was a ball. Peace and Love from the Garden Isle, Chris x

Hi folks as the OG closed almost four years ago I have decided to change the title of the page to "Remembering the Octopus' Garden..."

The new restaurant which I have mentioned previously "That 60's Place" is due to open any day now. Please visit it when you come to Cowes. It is amazing and you will probably recognise some memorabilia from the OG.
