For those residents and visitors of Gurnard who are understandably upset that we are not proritising the redevelopment of the beach cafe, perhaps the below photo will help.

Street trading on a double yellow line in this instance is in breach of their license but more importantly almost every other esplanade on the island prohibits street trading. This is to encourage sustainable investment in beachfront businesses that provide year round employment, pay business rates and create a better environment for both tourists and residents.

Fresh pastries this morning to go with the coffee! And for tea we have fresh scones with jam and clotted cream. Plus our usual toasties, cakes, ice creams plus hot and cold drinks. Perfect for a day by the beach.

Catering Assistant required for busy trailer located on Gurnard seafront.

The role will include;
Food preparation (sandwiches, toasties etc)
Serving customers to a high standard
Till use with financial responsibility whilst on shift.
Managing stock levels and ordering

The role will include weekends and bank holidays. All shifts will be straight through (no split shifts)

Food hygiene qualification is preferred but not essential, if you do not already have the qualification you must be willing to undertake one.
