Meet Moose 🐶

Charlotte bought a little visitor in to the cafe this week and obviously we had to introduce him to you all 😭

Safe to say Moose understood the assignment and was VERY well behaved on his first trip to Squirrels.

One of our favourite things about being dog friendly is getting to meet all of yours, so it only seems fair that you get to meet ours too.

Which has given us an idea...

How are we already at the end of the summer holidays?! 😭

Which also means we're coming to the final few days of Kids Eat for £1.

We've loved seeing so many families making use of it over the holidays and hopefully it's helped make keeping the little ones fed slightly cheaper!

Last day will be this Friday 28th August, with one £1 kids meal for every adult meal purchased.

Our pastry counter definitely gets a LOT of attention (and rightly so 🤤), but we want to show our cakes a little more love too.

We always have a selection available, including GF/VG/DF options from the wonderful Samantha Avery perfect alongside a coffee or for that afternoon sweet treat.

BUT... we also want to hear from you 👀

We're always looking at what we can do better and we'd love to mix up our cake selection and introduce some new options.

🍳 Well... apparently we opened a can of worms with the breakfast debate 😂

It's been great reading through all your comments and seeing just how differently everyone likes their breakfast!

Runny eggs, crispy bacon, beans touching NOTHING, beans covering everything... there's absolutely no chance we're ever going to get you all to agree 😂

But there were definitely a couple of things that kept popping up...

🍅 Tinned tomatoes
🍞 Fried bread

You lot clearly have strong feelings about these two 👀

We always try to find that middle ground with our menu. We know we'll never be able to please absolutely everyone, but it's really useful hearing what you actually want and what makes the perfect breakfast for you.

Also, I'd just like to acknowledge my fellow bean haters in the comments. I knew I wasn't alone 😏🤮😂

So... what do we argue about next?
