🌻💛 SHELL’S MEMORIAL DAY – FOR OUR SHELL & AN INCREDIBLE CAUSE 💛🌻
As you all know, we’re coming together for the ultimate Memorial Day for our beloved Shell — celebrating her exactly as she deserves, surrounded by the people she loved. 💛
Shell dedicated so much of her life to helping children and taking in all the “waifs and strays”, while being an incredible mum and the most adored Nanny. So it feels only right that her special day also helps children who need a little extra support. 🥹
We’ll be raising money for the amazing Ladybug Lodge 🐞, a Coventry charity supporting children with disabilities and their families — including beautiful little Mila. ❤️
Mila has an extremely rare microdeletion of chromosome 14, with only around five known cases in the world. Her condition means she is unable to walk, talk, feed herself, sit or stand independently. Ladybug Lodge has given Mila and her family somewhere they feel completely welcomed and included — and even gave Mila the opportunity to take part in her very first dance class, something her family never thought would be possible. 🥹💃
So while we celebrate everything that was Our Shell, we’re hoping to raise as much as possible for a cause that represents everything she stood for — children, family, love and making sure everyone has somewhere they belong. 🌻
