Today has been one of those days weโll never forget. ๐๐
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who came along to support our girlsโ little lemonade stand today.
What started as a simple idea quickly turned into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. Over the last few days, the girls have been so excited, spending hours squeezing over 70 lemons, helping make the lemonade, shopping for supplies, making signs, filling bottles and getting everything ready. They couldnโt wait for today to arrive.
Seeing so many of you stop by, queue up, have a chat, buy a lemonade, or even leave a little extra to encourage them was incredibly kind. Your support meant the world to them.
Today wasnโt really about making money. It was about teaching two young girls that good things come from hard work, planning, determination and having the confidence to put themselves out there. They learned what it means to prepare for something, greet customers with a smile, work as a team, handle money, and see the reward that comes from putting in the effort.
The smiles on their faces throughout the day said it all. They came home so proud of themselves, not because of what they achieved financially, but because they saw that all the hard work theyโd put in over the last few days had paid off.
These are the kinds of memories theyโll carry with them for years. Theyโll remember standing outside serving their own homemade lemonade, but even more importantly, theyโll remember how kind, generous and supportive our local community was. Every person who stopped by helped build their confidence a little bit more.
A huge thank you as well to everyone who shared our post, told friends and family, honked their horn as they drove past, waved, or simply stopped for a chat. Every bit of encouragement made today extra special.
We honestly feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. You turned a little summer holiday idea into a day our girls will never forget.
Thank you for believing in them, cheering them on, and showing them that kindness and community really do make a difference. Itโs a lesson theyโll carry with them for a long time.
