Today marks the end of an era.

After 16 unforgettable years, Asiana will serve its final customers and close its doors.

This is one of the hardest statements I’ve ever had to write.

For many people, a successful and well-established business with a loyal customer base doesn’t simply close overnight. People naturally ask, “Why?” The truth is, no one in their right mind would choose to close a profitable business that they have poured their heart and soul into for over a decade and a half.

But sometimes life presents you with difficult decisions. Decisions that only those carrying the weight truly understand.

I am reluctant, emotional, and deeply sorry that it has come to this. But after months of reflection, I know this is the only path forward for me.

Asiana has been far more than a restaurant.

It has been my second home.

It has witnessed birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, family celebrations, business meetings, friendships formed, tears shed, and countless memories created. Thousands of customers have walked through these doors, many becoming lifelong friends rather than just customers.

To every member of staff, every chef, every supplier, every friend, every family member, and every single loyal customer who has supported Asiana over the past 16 years…

Thank you.

You gave this place life.

You gave me purpose.

You gave Asiana its reputation.

A reputation that I will forever be proud of.

Although today we close one chapter, this is not goodbye.

The same four walls that built the Asiana legacy will continue to welcome you under a new vision.

Maple – Home of Brunch has already begun creating new memories, and soon we will launch Maple After Dark – Steaks & Sushi, bringing another exciting chapter to Coventry.

I’m still here.

The passion is still here.

The commitment is still here.

Only the name is changing.

Asiana may close its doors today, but its legacy will never close.

It will forever remain a part of my life, my family’s story, and the history of Coventry’s restaurant scene.

From the bottom of my heart…

Thank you for 16 incredible years.

After 16 incredible years, this weekend marks the final dine-in service at Asiana Restaurant.

It’s hard to put into words what these years have meant to us. Asiana has never just been a restaurant, it has been a place of memories, celebrations, and community. We’ve watched families grow, hosted anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, and shared countless special moments together. Many of you walked in as customers and became part of the Asiana family.

Your loyalty, kindness, and support, especially through the most challenging times is something we will never forget. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 16 beautiful years.

Although we are closing the dine-in chapter, Asiana is not going anywhere. Our takeaway service will continue, and we’re also excited to begin a new journey with our upcoming café, Maple Home of Brunch, which we can’t wait to welcome you into very soon.

And this isn’t goodbye to dining with us…

We’ll be opening once every fortnight on a Sunday evening for a special Indian Banquet Night, exclusively for our regular guests through a booking-only system, something warm, familiar, and nostalgic to look forward to.
