Hi All,

I hope that you have all enjoyed your summer........

Takeaway is back on Saturday 5th September....with a selection of my best selling dishes..... along with a brand new short eat that I made for a birthday party recently.....Cassava Vadai......instead of lentils I have used cassava which when fried goes beautifully with my mint yougurt dip.

As always collections start at 5pm and are then every 10 minutes to 8pm

Hi All,

As this week is scheduled to be scorching I will be preparing my SL style BBQ packs for next weekend.....for collection between 11am & 6pm on Friday & Saturday.

There are 2 size packs to cater for different party sizes....containing Rump Steaks, Chicken legs and Prawn Kebabs....along with Salads, Roti & Chutney.....see the attached menu for full details

I have introduced non meat options this summer for those who make that lifestyle choice.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you to all of you who came along and supported me at the Cookham Scout Fete on Saturday......

I will be cooking the ever popular LAMPRAIS 😋 for collection on FRIDAY 26th June....You can heat & eat them anytime over the weekend....1 packet is perfect for 1 person.....and are ideal for the freezer if you want to stock for a cheeky midweek treat.

Just heat, unwrap, eat, wrap & chuck......with only the cutlery to wash up....

Lamprais is a complex Sri Lankan dish consisting of stock-cooked Samba Rice, 3 meat curry (Chicken, Pork, and Beef), Wambatu Moju (Aubergine pickle), Seeni Sambol (onion relish), roasted Coconut Sambol with dried baby shrimps, Frikadeller meatball, Fried banana Curry, and a egg….All the ingredients are placed inside a banana leaf to create a parcel that is then baked in the oven.

See attached menu for seafood and Veggie options.

Cost
Meat Lamprais = £18
Prawn Lamprais = £18
Veggie Lamprais = £15.......let me know when ordering if you want a Vegan option

The Lamprais parcel will be cold when you collect it from us in Cookham.
Please leave the Lamprais wrapped in its foil and simply place in a hot oven for 45 - 50 mins at 180 degrees (depending on your oven type) ….…
Collections for the Lamprais takeaway will be start from 17:00 on FRIDAY 26th June until 19:30....Please let me know your preferred pick up time when ordering and I will confirm or offer the closest alternative.........

I am delighted to announce that I revived the SET MENU Offer that some of you may remember from a few years back....

This should feed 2 people with average appetites...

SET MENU - £33 (should feed 2 people)

1 x Short Eat – Choose Fish Patties OR Chicken Roll

1 x Chicken Curry

2 x Veg dishes – Choose 2 of the veg options

1 x Rice – Yellow Basmati OR Red Rice

1 x Roti

You can still order from the general menu if this doesn't suit your circumstances.....or order extras....I know that several people use to order an additional short eat or roti ....and sometimes an additional meat portion
