⛳️🎉 OUR PRACTICE NETS ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🎉⛳️

It was ribbon-cutting time at The View at Consett Golf Club today as our brand-new practice nets officially opened! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

And who better to do the honours than our Bar Manager Imelda — aka Minnie Mouse! 🎀😂

Apparently standard golf attire wasn’t quite glamorous enough for such an important occasion 😂

The new nets are a fantastic addition to the club, giving golfers the perfect place to warm up, practise that swing and hit a few balls before heading out onto the course.

And just look at that backdrop! 😍 With those gorgeous views across the Derwent Valley, we reckon there can’t be many better places to work on your game.

👏 A HUGE thank you to our Club Director Gary Kennedy, who led the project from start to finish, and to Philip Welsh, Phil Jenkins, Alan Tog Marshall for all their hard work helping to make it happen. 💚

Another fantastic improvement to the club for our members, visitors and golfers to enjoy.

We reached the end of the quiz and apparently nobody fancied making life easy for Quiz Master Imelda because we had a THREE-WAY TIE! 🤦‍♀️😂

What a fabulous day celebrating Kirsty & Tom’s wedding at The View! 🤍🥂

The room looked absolutely beautiful, the fizz was flowing and there were smiles all round as everyone celebrated the new Mr & Mrs.

📸 Dolly Daydream Club’s Key Ring Station was a HUGE hit! Guests had great fun striking a pose and leaving with their very own personalised photo key ring — a little keepsake from a very special day. We loved seeing everyone getting involved! 🔑💕

🎧 And a massive shout-out to our resident DJ, Imelda, who was absolutely brilliant! The dance floor was packed, the tunes kept coming and judging by some of these photos, everyone certainly gave it their all! 😂💃🕺 A fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

A huge congratulations to Kirsty & Tom and thank you for choosing The View to host such an important day. It was a pleasure being part of it. 🤍
