Simple, fresh Italian cuisine Sale Pepe is a warm, inviting and relaxed family-run restaurant situated in Shotley Bridge village.

We pride ourselves on serving daily produced home-made food using only the finest ingredients which are provided by local producers and suppliers. We have a large comfortable and homely bar / waiting area where our guests can relax with a drink before or after their meal, and we now boast a 'Private Dining Room' which caters for up to 26 people. Specials and happy hours available daily.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! According to various sources, we have a garden and are dog friendly - Unfortunately this is incorrect- we had a few contentious phone calls over the last couple of days about this!

Sadly we do not have a back garden! Also we are not dog friendly

We are however open tonight at 4.30pm and we'd love to see you there!

Good afternoon (long post alert! - apologies)

So it has been brought to our attention that there are some old menus kicking about under the Sale Pepe, Shotley Bridge guise - these, unfortunately are wrong - ill show you......

If you search for us on google remember Shotley Bridge, as you may end up anywhere! 🌏

You should see something like the first picture - please press on where I have circled to access our website and our current menus (actually the main menu here is so new it isn't even live yet!) - maybe Friday but thats for another post

The second picture below is usually underneath the first picture(!) and lists Happy Hour, pizza, pastas, meats etc - these are incorrect 🚫 - we are trying to get them removed to avoid confusion but its taken us a lot longer than we anticipated, so i just thought i'd try and advise you all now so we all know which hymn sheet we are singing from! 😊
