On Saturday 18th July, our Janette will be taking on the Alzheimer’s Society Trek 26. This is a 26 mile walk starting in Alnmouth.
She is a prolific fundraiser and would love to smash her current total of around £2000 and raise more funds for this charity to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. We have family members suffering with it and it is so tough to see the change in them.

Janette has her sponsor form in the cafe- let’s help her smash her target!

In the UK someone develops dementia every 3 minutes.

1 in 3 people born in the UK today will go on to develop dementia in their lifetime

Around 1 million people in the UK are living with dementia.

1.8 million people in England provide care for someone with dementia

At least one in three people with dementia don’t have a diagnosis.

Only together can we beat dementia – by giving vital support to those who need it, funding groundbreaking research, and campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be.
