A little bit of Cumbrian magic has arrived at The Terrace at Brantwood

We’re delighted to stock the beautiful children’s books by local mother and daughter duo, Maureen Lambert and Sally Anne Lambert, based in nearby Hawkshead.

Written by Maureen and lovingly brought to life through Sally Anne’s enchanting illustrations, these charming stories are filled with imagination, wonder and heart. 🌈

Many of you will already know Sally Anne’s wonderful artwork from the prints and cards we proudly stock in our Terrace cafe shop, and we’re thrilled to now offer these beautiful books alongside them.

We are so delighted to welcome some beautiful new additions to our little shop here at The Terrace at Brantwood ✨

Many of you will already recognise the stunning artwork of Mandy Allan, whose much-loved prints have been part of our collection for some time now. We’re so pleased to now also stock her wonderful greeting cards, featuring the same incredible attention to detail and character that make her work so special.

From charming Highland cows to delicate butterflies and curious woodland creatures, each piece captures the beauty of the natural world so perfectly. They complement Mandy’s existing collection in the shop beautifully and make such lovely keepsakes, gifts, or little treats for yourself.

What a wonderfully creative morning here at The Terrace at Brantwood.

We’re constantly blown away by the talent of our customers capturing the beauty of the lakes and fells in such incredible ways. It’s always so special to see people take inspiration from the views around us and turn them into something truly beautiful.

A peaceful morning of art, coffee, cake and scenery… we can’t think of a better way to spend it.
