We hope our flowers bring a smile to your face as you drive past.

We've loved filling the front of The Congresbury Arms with colourful hanging baskets and planters this summer, and we hope they brighten your journey through the village.

But what you can't see from the road is our large, sunny garden tucked away at the back.

At The Congresbury Arms, we know that keeping little ones happy makes for a more relaxing meal for the grown ups!

With temperatures soaring today, we've put a cool box full of bottled water outside the pub for anyone who needs it.

Whether you're working outside, walking through the village, cycling, or just feeling the heat, please help yourself to a bottle and stay hydrated.

No purchase necessary, just a small gesture to help our community stay safe and cool in the sunshine. There's also water available in our beer garden for dogs.

Take care of yourselves and each other today and tomorrow.

Due to the exceptionally hot weather forecast for tomorrow and Thursday, and out of concern for the welfare of our kitchen team, The Congresbury Arms will be operating a reduced food service on both days.

Food will be available:
• Lunch: 12 noon – 2pm
• Dinner: 6pm – 8pm

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we look after our staff during the heatwave. The pub and garden will remain open as usual, and we look forward to welcoming you.
