🎄❤️ **Christmas Cheer – Supporting a Fantastic Local Cause** ❤️🎄

Ian and Diane recently visited us at Bear Grills to discuss what No Tier Snooker do for our community here in Congleton. Following that meeting last Saturday, we’re delighted to reveal that we have officially agreed to partner with No Tier Snooker for our Christmas Cheer events this year.

Any excess funds raised will be donated to this fantastic organisation, which supports adults living with early-onset dementia through sporting activities, helping people stay active, connected and involved in their community.

We’re incredibly proud to support such a brilliant local cause and to know that our Christmas Cheer fundraising can continue to make a difference beyond the festive season.

We still have spaces available for our Family Event and our Legends Event. If you are interested or know someone who you would like to put forward to attend, please email Mark at [email protected] 👍

CHRISTMAS CHEER

"Sometimes a little Christmas magic means everything....."

Sometimes you are reminded exactly why something matters.

We recently received a message from a local mum who asked if she could bring her young son and her mum to our Christmas Cheer event.

Her family is facing the heartbreaking prospect of having to move out of their home around Christmas, with no new home secured yet. They are living with the uncertainty of not knowing where they will be living or what Christmas will look like.

For her young son, there is a very real possibility that this Christmas could be very different from the one they had imagined.

She told us that being able to come along to Christmas Cheer would give them a chance to forget about everything for a few hours, make some happy memories together and, most importantly, give her little boy something to look forward to.

That message genuinely moved us.

This is exactly why we wanted to organise Christmas Cheer.

Christmas isn't easy for every family. Sometimes a few hours of kindness, laughter, food and Christmas magic can mean far more than we realise.

We are proud to be able to give local families a little bit of that this Christmas. We want to fill Bear Grills 4 times over, reaching as many people in our community as possible.This Christmas, noone gets left behind ❤️

**CHRISTMAS CHEER UPDATES**

Just want to keep you all updated on our Christmas Cheer events.and be as transparent as possible.

Each event will comprise a three course dinner, crackers, entertainment and a gift for each person that attends.

We are aiming to provide these for FREE with the help and support of Congleton people and businesses.

We have raised so far:
Cash donations £40
Justgiving £25 (search previous posts for the link as Facebook won't allow more than one link post per month)

We have pledges of support from Morrisons Congleton for drinks.

The events will cost around £10pp in food and £10pp in a gift (subject to funding)

In total we estimate we need to raise £300 per event and there are 4 events and if we want to ensure every person attending received a gift then another £300 per event.

That brings our total to around £2400 for the 4 events.

We have posters in-store with QR code to our justgiving page and we also accept cash donations too.

If you want to help deliver these events then we would be delighted to hear from you too, but we really need to crack on with funding these events as best we can.

1230pm LEGENDS EVENT (18 /30 slots filled)
630pm THE SMETHURST FOUNDATION (30 people)
