It’s that wonderful time of year again where we take our incredible staff out to Manchester to celebrate another great year✨ (more importantly to do our annual maintenance at the Brownlow too🛠️) so we are closed today but don’t worry we will be ready to rock and roll again tomorrow (with some potential sore heads)

We are hosting a welcome day at The Royal Oak for those interested in our Part Time Waiting on and Kitchen Porter positions.

The induction day will take place on Saturday the 14th of March, at The Royal Oak, where you will get to know us a bit better, and get a good idea about what the job entails.

We are pleased to introduce The Royal Oak’s Landlady and Head Chef, Kayley and Jake.

Our new Landlady, Kayley, was born and bred in the hospitality industry and began her journey pot-washing at The Brownlow Inn, and has never looked back.

She has recently returned from Australia, where she worked and travelled, gaining new insight and knowledge while working in cafés, hotels, and fine-dining restaurants.

Jake, our Head Chef, is as local as they come and also started his career pot-washing from a young age.

He has managed kitchens in some fantastic venues across Staffordshire and Cheshire, and has a collection of signature dishes ready for the new Royal Oak menu.

Kayley and Jake are excited to welcome you back to The Royal Oak in April 2026, with the exact date to be advised closer to the time.

The Royal Oak in Rode Heath will be opening in April, offering a combination of great drinks and fantastic food.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. A Royal Oak Bartender must be readily available to work mid-week and weekends.

Skills you will need...
•Those with a love for creating fantastic drinks and putting their own spin on our cocktail menu
•Previous experience behind a busy bar
•A genuine desire to go above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and at home
•Strong communication skills
