Really looking forward to the Brownhills Canal Festival this weekend! 😊
Unfortunately we’ll be without the boat this time, but we’ll be dishing up some of our home recipe favourites 😋

On Saturday 15th (11:30-16:30) we’ll be serving our South Indian Beef Curry (£10) and Dhal Makhani (£9) both served with rice & kachumbar, and we’ll also be cooking up onion bhajia (£4.5)

Sunday 16th (11:30+) we’ll have our butter chicken (£10) and Punjabi Cholé (chickpea curry) (£9) and onion bhajia (£4.5)

It promises to be a cracking weekend with lots of trading boats and towpath stalls, raising money for the restoration of the Lichfield & Hatherton Canal ⛴️

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at Market Drayton and a particular thanks to the organisers, Chris Downs and Paul Patridge for all the hard work that went into organising the event. 🙏

The weather held up with a few cheeky bursts of rain but other than that it was a great weekend! It was lovely to have the opportunity to link up and catch up with fellow boaters, traders old and new! I understand that a lot of time and effort goes into planning these markets and I can
Only be thankful for being able to trade at them. Thank you! 🤩🙏

We will be heading our way to Brown hills for our next festival on the 15th & the 16th of August organised by the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals restoration trust. 😊

We are looking forward to opening the hatch at Market Drayton visitor Moorings this weekend for the RCTA Floating Market 🙂
We’ll be open on Saturday from 11:30 - 19:00 and on Sunday from 11:30 - 16:30.

There’ll be plenty of interesting, quirky and original arts and crafts on offer from our fellow traders, so please do pop over if you’re in the area 😊

It was so nice to talk to many of you and a huge thank you to people who travelled from afar (including Chesterfield, Bollington and Scholar Green) to try our food! 🙂
