BUT, it's not too hot to bring them for a roast or bite to eat in our beer garden.

Water bowls, treats, and scratches under the chin (for dogs only of course) are all provided.

This Saturday we were mean't to have Live Music (like we do every week) from 9pm. Sadly our musician cancelled a little last minute. We reckon they might be a big England fan so we don't really blame them!

Once we pondered over this sad news we thought what could we do instead?

Well, let's do what we do best. Great food and great drinks. You can't exactly watch the boys bring it home on an empty stomach !!!

So, This Saturday (The 11th of July) before you go visit our fantastic neighbours (or any other football showing venue) you can come see us and get any burger, triple cooked chip & slaw combined with any core draft beer, small wine or single spirit and mixer for just £17.50.

Tommy’s Wine of the Week.

Our Tom loves his Vino and it turns out you lovely lot do as well.

So much so, Tommy is now picking a new special to be served by the glass or bottle every week and this time it’s Adaras Lluvia. This beauty is a Spanish blend of organic Sauvignon Blanc & Verdejo.

Mouth-watering stone fruit, lime and passionfruit flavour that are backed up by steely minerality and complexity.

Tommy won’t be serving it from the rooftops but we had a lot of fun trying to capture the perfect, ‘content wine shot’.

Get down and give it a go. Once it’s gone it’s gone.

We normally always post about what we’re up to!

Today, however we want to shout about someone else!

The Queens Head is a special place which for years was somewhere we frequently visited. We even stole a lot of ideas from their when doing our ‘market research’.

This Friday at 4pm the Queens Head re-opens after a short stint of closure with our good friend Liya taking charge.

We want to wish her all the best and encourage everyone to go there for a pint! We might even try pop-up for one ourselves.

Another great pub in Congleton means only more great people to come and visit the town.

Too often pubs compete rather than support each other. Pubs are struggling so let’s support each other, support hospitality and spread the love ❤️
