🎂 SIS & CO IS ONE. 🎂
One year ago today, we opened the doors.
We had a new name above the door, a little café, a team ready to give it everything and absolutely no idea what the next 12 months were going to look like.
And what a bloody year it’s been.
You came in.
Then you came back.
Then you brought your friends.
You ordered breakfasts, butties, coffees, cakes and an frankly unreasonable amount of loaded fries and breakfast burritos. 😂
We found our feet.
We built a team.
We got busier.
Breakfast became lunch.
Lunch became catering.
Catering became events.
There have been ridiculously early mornings, completely buried ticket rails, sell-outs, mistakes, belly laughs, stressful days, brilliant days and plenty of moments where we’ve looked around and thought…
How has this become OUR life?!
And somewhere amongst all of that, this little café became Sis & Co.
Then, because apparently running one hospitality business wasn’t quite enough for us…
We picked up another set of keys. 🔑
And before we’d even managed to put the first candle on the café’s birthday cake, The Bistro by Sis & Co was born.
One year.
Two sites.
One incredible team.
And thousands and thousands of you through our doors.
That last part is the bit that matters most.
Because none of this happens without the people who chose to give us a go.
Every coffee. Every breakfast. Every takeaway. Every catering order. Every review. Every recommendation. Every tag, share and “you need to try this place.”
You built this with us.
To our team, past and present, who have worked their arses off, laughed through the chaos and helped turn an idea into something real, thank you.
To our families, suppliers, friends and everyone who’s backed us behind the scenes, thank you.
And to every single person who’s walked through that little door over the last 365 days…

We’re unbelievably proud of what Year One became.
But looking at everything that’s happened already, we can’t help wondering…
What the hell are we going to do in Year Two? 👀
