Very different venue, same weather! Wet, windy, enjoyable 4 days at Defender Bramham Horse Trials with so many braving the June climate.

We managed a dry day for day 2 at this amazing event, where people flock in to just enjoy a day out amongst fellow classic car lovers or Pink Floyd fans, all in aid of two very worthy charities, and . Hopefully we have all raised a record amount this year!

Looking for a lovely day out this weekend?

Middlewick House Open Garden returns on 6–7 June and it really is one of those quintessentially British summer events.

Beautiful gardens. Classic cars. Lots of stalls. And good food. Hosted by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and his wife Annette in the grounds of their stunning Wiltshire home while raising money for two brilliant local charities.

And yes … Gastro Nicks will be there too.

We’ll be bringing along a selection of deli favourites, wines and sparkling to enjoy while you wander, browse and make a day of it.

Why does fish from a fishmonger taste so different?
