✨ Meet the Directors – Chris & Karoly ✨

Behind The Dedham Coffee Collective are Chris & Karoly — partners in life and in this labour-of-love passion project.

Chris is the visionary with the creative eye. From the interior design to the refurbishment, the late nights, the hands-on work, the blood, sweat and tears — he has poured his heart into re-energising and reviving this beautiful old-fashioned tea room into the contemporary, welcoming coffee space you see today.

The goal? Keep the traditional charm… but enhance it with a modern twist, cosy café vibes, and a strong sense of community — proudly working with mostly local suppliers, from locally roasted coffee and organic teas to carefully selected wines.

Karoly works behind the scenes as Marketing Director and Events Coordinator — managing social media, partnerships, promotions and the creative direction that keeps everything moving and growing.

Together, they’re building something special — a space where everyone feels welcome.

We’re so excited for what’s coming this spring and summer 🌿✨

And none of this would be possible without our incredible team and our loyal customers who continue to support us. We are truly grateful.

Join us on 3rd March from 10am–12pm for a beautiful Needle Felting Workshop with Bayard Creations, held inside The Dedham Coffee Collective (located within the Dedham Art Centre).

You’ll learn step-by-step how to create your own adorable blue tit — perfect for beginners, with all materials provided. No experience needed, just come along and enjoy the process 💙

This role would suit someone who enjoys:
• Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere 🤍
• Supporting and leading a small team 🌿
• Delivering thoughtful, attentive service ✨
• Being part of a calm, beautifully curated café environment

Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality is essential, as this role involves overseeing shifts, supporting the team, and maintaining high service standards.

There is also potential for additional weekday shifts, depending on availability and experience.
