Dear Customers and Friends,

With great sadness and disappointment, we are forced to close the business with 2 weeks notice, despite kept paying the rent!

With current plan, our last day will be Friday 27th October. We aim to operate as usual until then, however, we lose electricity supply other than the kitchen, so seating area will be lit with candles with limited capacity..
Food and drink selections will be limited as well, and payment cash only as there is no power in the front shop. Therefore, take-away is very welcome!

We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
If there is any update, we will certainly post here.

We are more than grateful for all your support since we opened the business in late 2018. It was a great pleasure to serve and meet you all.

We aim to reopen the business in a new premises in near future. We look forward to seeing you all again there!

The famous band Blur came to have a meal at us before playing at Colchester Arts Centre! The photos is minus Damon, but I greatly thank him for talking to me and praising my cooking🙏 And of course I thank Graham, Alex and Dave as well for coming to eat at F&M!
