lled wraps & Ciabatta's, as well as fresh salads, vegetarian options and a few other tasty concoctions which are all made to order and certain to whet your taste buds. Furthermore, we also serve a range of speciality coffee made with Fairtrade produce and customised to your liking, if requested. Of course if you need a little cooling you could ice your coffee or choose from a variety of ice-blended beverages ...and to top it all off, if you're feeling naughty, you could add a little sweet on the side from our selection of delicious desserts, and remember if you eat it quick and nobody sees you, it doesn't count!

Sad times!

Today we received a letter from Colchester City Council regarding our business rates!

Since COVID hospitality and retail have received discounts on our business rates paying only 40% of our rates.

Sadly under the latest central government that discount has been reduced meaning from April 2025 we will only get 25% discount.

In money terms we are currently paying £443.00 per month. From April it be £1063.00!

That’s an increase of £620.00 per month! We don’t even get our bins emptied!

So we either need to find savings of £620 a month or we need to take another £1800-£2000 a month to cover it!

Sadly this is just the first of many increases imposed on us by a government who promised no tax rises.

From the whole family and Cricketers team we’d just like to say a massive thank you for your continued support. You’re not customers, you’re family!
