It’s been a pretty special week for us, as last Sunday we celebrated 20 years of The Fat Cat Colchester 🍻
It was so lovely to see so many of you. Thank you for celebrating with us ~ 20 years of beer, food and friendships ♥️
We’re really looking forward to settling into the new season and getting the roasts back on 🙌

20 years. Can you believe it? 🥹🍻

On Sunday 13th September, 1–4pm, we’re raising a glass to 20 years of the Fat Cat Colchester and to everyone who has been part of the journey along the way.
We’ve already got lots of people booked in (which is brilliant!), so we’re not taking any more bookings for the afternoon.
BUT… PLEASE DON’T THINK THAT MEANS YOU CAN’T COME! 🧡
The Fat Cat has never been about everything having to fit neatly into a booking system ~ and our anniversary won’t be either.
If you fancy popping in for a drink, come along!
Stand at the bar, grab a table, squeeze in with friends, share a table, find a corner, say hello to familiar faces or make some new ones. 🍻
We’ll be doing our absolute best to make sure everyone can enjoy being part of our 20th anniversary, whether you’ve booked or you’re simply popping through the door.
It’s a casual celebration of 20 brilliant years, of the pub, the people, the memories, the beers and everything we’ve achieved together.
So don’t worry about a booking.

Yes, the quizzing is competitive, and everyone enjoys putting their knowledge to the test BUT what really makes our quiz special is the people. It’s a genuinely welcoming group that has become a bit of a home from home for many of our regulars 🍻
