The Royal Oak The Royal Oak or The Dicky to local's is a beautiful country pub. Set in the Suffolk countryside in East End, East Bergholt. A food offering is planned.

The Dicky As this beautiful 1800's Suffolk pub is known by locals and regulars. Thought to stem from its previous name, The Kicking Donkey Beer House. The Royal Oak Inn is effectionatly known as The Dicky, meaning donkey in Suffolk dialect. Cask ale has a loyal following at The Royal Oak. The three traditional hand pulls allow for us to offer a range of cask ales, offering something for everyone. Currently on tap; Green King Abbot Ale, Green King IPA with London Pride potentially appearing this weekend. New managment... Tom Brown has taken over management of The Royal Oak. The pub has been given a fresh lick of paint and a spring clean. The artwork throughout the pub is courtesy of Catalina Carvajal.

Thursday brings Open Mic night. Last months was a great night. 7:30pm kick off. Earn a pint if you fancy performing or just come along for a great night of music.

Pizza Paul is with us as usual every Thursday from 5pm with wood fired pizza. Unfortunately Pie n Pud is competing at the European rowing championships this week, but is back next Friday as usual.

The Dicky Friday Night Raffle is back this Friday! First draw is 6pm. Get your tickets at the bar!
