Church Street Tavern is the perfect place to meet friends, family or colleagues day or night. Our ground floor bar with comfy sofas serves brunch from 10.30am with snacks available throughout the day. If you need to have an afternoon meeting, we can provide tea & cakes. In the evening we serve dinner from 5.30pm until 9.30pm (10pm Fri & Sat) from a seasonal changing menu. Come early and enjoy a great cocktail or craft beer in the bar before heading upstairs to the restaurant where you will be well looked after by a dedicated team of people.

Absolutely stunning first of the season Natives in this morning from Richard Haward's Oysters

More delicate and sweeter in flavour compared to the year round rocks, we’re very lucky to be able to have on our menu.

Each year the size and supply of natives have been dwindling due to global sea temperatures rising - it affects spawning and has caused a shift in habitat suitability. The rock oysters seem to thrive, but colder waters are what natives want.

So come and feast on them, perfect with our Oyster Martini made by infusing the gin with cleaned oyster shells and other seaside botanicals.
