Live music has been happening and the Vic for many years, with bands like When Rivers Meet Fraser Morgan Shed-band PET NEEDS Ash Mandrake Alex Roberts Music Vix and the Bleeding Hearts and many many more.

Our Wednesday Open Mic Night - Stu E Skinner, Colchester sees all levels of people through the door and has led to some acts getting full gigs here.

Live music isn't about one individual place, it's a community that lasts for years. As we always say... Let's keep live music alive!!

Pubs are at the heart of our communities!
From creating jobs to bringing people together, pubs play a huge role in everyday life across the UK. But right now, the sector is facing real challenges - with rising energy bills, food costs, employment costs and business rates all piling on pressure.
On top of that, hospitality has one of the highest VAT rates in Europe at 20%.
That’s why the industry is backing the VAT’s The Problem campaign - calling for a fairer 10% VAT rate for hospitality.
