Now, telegraph poles are great and all, but we think bacon’s better. Especially with sausages, eggs, golden hash browns and all the breakfast favourites keeping it company. 🥓😍

Tender roast meat, golden roasties and a generous helping of gravy, with a glass of red and your favourite people round the table. Add a little room for pudding and that’s our kind of afternoon! 🍷😍

TGIF! 🍻 Good food, your favourite drink and a proper catch up. That’s our kind of weekend at The Anchor!

Start your day with breakfast from 9.30am, pop in for a leisurely pub lunch or make a night of it with a juicy steak and a cocktail or two. We’ve got light bites, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pizzas and plenty of pub favourites to tempt you, plus desserts well worth saving room for! 🍽️

The bar is stocked with draught beers, ciders, guest ales, wines and cocktails, and there’s football on the screens for those who fancy a pint with the action. Prefer a relaxed catch up? Settle into our Garden Lounge and make yourself comfortable. 🥂

Sunday deserves a proper roast, with smaller plates and roast meat sandwiches available too. Add a little live piano in the Garden Lounge and you’ve got a lovely way to round off the weekend. 🎹

With gluten free and dairy free menus, plus vegetarian and vegan choices, there’s plenty for your table to tuck into.

Our From the Sea menu also has plenty more to tempt you, including scampi, a comforting Fisherman’s Pie and a mixed fish platter for those who fancy a bit of everything.

Juicy rib eye, tender fillet, sirloin, rump or a mighty 21oz T bone, there’s plenty to tempt you at The Anchor Steakhouse, with steaks starting at £19.95.

Go classic with chips, grilled tomato, garlic mushrooms, garden peas and onion rings, or try our BBQ accompaniments with special rice, BBQ beans, jalapeño red slaw and onion rings. 🤤

Add your favourite sauce, treat yourself to butterfly king prawns or go all out with half a rack of BBQ ribs. This is a dinner worth bringing your appetite for!

Gluten free and spoilt for choice at The Anchor! 🍽️

Crispy beer battered fish and chips, juicy burgers and a proper plate of sausage and mash are just a few of the favourites on our gluten free menu. 😋

There’s plenty beyond the dishes pictured too, including steaks, pizzas on gluten free bases, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and sides. And with chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble on the dessert menu, you’ll want to save some room! 🍨

We also have a full dairy free menu, with tempting choices including crispy chilli beef, pizzas with dairy free cheese and chocolate filled churro bites served with dairy free ice cream.
