A little change to our opening days ❤️

From November , we’re going to be taking Tuesdays off, meaning we’ll be open Wednesday–Sunday as usual, with Mondays already being our regular day off.

There’s a little bit of a reason behind it… Paige is going to be having some treatment on her eye over the course of the winter, and she could potentially be out of action for around 6 weeks.

As you all know, we’re a small team and we like to be very hands-on with the restaurant. With Paige being away for a while, we’ve decided that giving ourselves and the team an extra day to properly switch off each week is the fairest way to keep things running smoothly. It also means we can make sure we’re looking after the team properly rather than stretching everyone too thin.

So, for the time being, Tuesdays will be our extra day off! It’s only one more day than our usual Monday closure, and we’ll still be here Wednesday–Sunday doing what we do best.

It won’t be forever, but for now we think it’s the best way to keep Seafood at Dawn running as it should while Paige is having treatment.

We’ll be in contact with anyone who has booked in for a Tuesday from November onwards to rearrange your meal with us accordingly.

🌊 MERSEA TOWN REGATTA IS HERE! 🌊

It’s Regatta Day🌞 And although our main restaurant isn’t open as normal today, we’ll still be here keeping you fed and watered!

Our takeaway stall will be serving up your hot & cold food favourites from 12pm🧡🦐

And joining us in the car park, we’ve got some familiar faces from last year! 💙

We absolutely LOVE seeing all your gorgeous pups at Seafood at Dawn, they really are some of our favourite customers! 🐾

With the sunshine showing off lately, we’ll be doing what we can to help keep our furry friends cool when they visit us, fresh water, plenty of shade and, if they fancy it, perhaps even a little dip in the sea after a meal! 🌊🐶☀️
