Last year a classic car group scheduled a visit to the museum/cafe for a pit stop and are returning Saturday!
They’ll be parked at the front of the museum whilst visiting.
There is also a modified car meet visiting Saturday too.
Cafe is open till 3pm Saturday and Sunday.

Hope we are all safely enjoying the sunshine!
We will be open at the cafe tomorrow however there will be a reduced menu in place.

We have fridges filled with cold drinks and ice creams in the freezer!

We have some brolleys on the patio for some shade and pray for some air/wind!

We love seeing dogs however tomorrow is not the day to see them! The museums Facebook post details the conditions below.

‘Weather Update - Wednesday 24th June and Weekend

Please note most of our site is Asphalt, after consulting with a Vet we do not recommend you bring Dogs as it will be too hot for them.

The RSPCA advises dog owners to be extremely cautious about walking dogs on hot pavements during warmer weather, as it can cause serious burns to their paws. A simple "five-second pavement test" can help determine if the ground is too hot for a dog's paws. If you can't comfortably hold the back of your hand on the pavement for five seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws.

Don't forget to take care of yourself too, we strongly recommend wearing sun protection like sun cream, sunglasses and hats.’

We are open from 10-2 today with lots of goodies on the menu.

A bonus if you’re visiting today, with planes in the mix too! As a rule when there’s a fly past, we get to see them heading in A12 direction, we usually see them quite well from the patio area, but the footbridge gives the best views!

Tomorrow is EARM’s steam day, with the engine running all day giving lots of steam train rides! Tickets still available and booking in advance saves % on admission ticket price.

Tickets are still available for our Diesel Days tomorrow and Sunday 31st May. The museum will be open from 10:00 until 17:00, with unlimited train rides from 10:30 till 15:00.
